All used 7" vinyl are graded visually using the scale below.  We try our best to grade conservatively, but accidents do happen and the trusty post office is not always as gentle with our albums as would prefer.  If something arrives that is not right, please do not hesitate to contact us!  


M = We will not use this rating for 7" vinyl


NM = VERY unlikely that we will use this rating for 7" vinyl because most have been stored in paper sleeves that put light marks on the vinyl 


VG+ = Many of our newer issue 7" vinyl falls into this category.  These records show some light scuffs/scratches from the paper sleeves and show signs of light use.  VG+ will not have scratches deep enough to cause skips.


VG = Most of our Very Good items are very playable but will typically have some light background noise from being stored in paper sleeves or maybe a very small rough spot that could cause a skip.  We try our best to identify whether there are any scratches that could cause skips, but for the most part, these are just records that have paper sleeve type marks and scratches.

G = Some of our older 7" vinyl will be in good condition with a fair number of scratches or possibly multiple skips. These show obvious signs of use or age or possibly improper storage.  However, they should still be playable and enjoyable!


P = We don't sell JUNK that will not play!!!
