Led Zeppelin Classic Records Analog Vinyl LP Reissues: Every Zeppelin Studio Album and The Song Remains the Same: The Best-Sounding Vinyl LPs of Led Zeppelin Ever Released
These are the long out-of-print Classic Records reissues of Led Zeppelin's studio catalog and the soundtrack to The Song Remains the Same. Ten albums, 12LPs: Led Zeppelin I, II, III, IV, Houses of the Holy, Physical Graffiti (2LP), Presence, In Through the Out Door, Coda, The Song Remains the Same (2LP),
Unlike the recent Zeppelin reissues that were done from digital files, these were all remastered by Bernie Grundman from the original master tapes and have a completely analog mastering chain. They are considered by most audiophiles to be far and away the definitive versions of these mammoth albums. They sound absolutely incredible and beat the new reissues by a fair margin.
With the exception of Coda, In Through the Out Door, and The Song Remains the Same, all of these records are the rarer 180g pressings that are favorable to the heavier 200g pressings Classic made after the initial pressings sold out. Individual sealed copies of these records normally sell for more than $250 each.
Most of these records were played one or two times on a high-end turntable with a high-end cartridge. They are all NM and very clean. Ditto the sleeves, which at worst, are a very conservative EX. One other note: Coda and In Through the Out Door have a "Promo...Compliments of Classic Records" sticker affixed over the UPC area. No other titles have this.
Most of the outer plastic sleeves have the QUIEX Vinyl sticker. In Through the Out Door is housed in the brown paper bag. Houses of the Holy has the band around the jacket. These records have been pampered.
This is your chance to get the entire catalog and get most of them in the more-desired 180g LP format. I believe this is one of the greatest vinyl reissue campaigns undertaken and for that reason and others I WILL NOT BREAK UP THE SET. So please do not ask if you can buy any of the LPs individually.
Serious bidders only please. Payment required within 24 hours of winning the auction. Please also note I do not arbitrarily set shipping prices and that I use UPS, not the US mail. Ebay calculates it according to your zip code after I plug in the dimensions and weight of shipping, and I also pay for insurance out of my own pocket. The records will be very safely packed in a professional LP box.
