This is the second US pressing from 1989 on black vinyl (1184-1-J RE 1).  Limited first editions from March 1989 were pressed on translucent vinyl (1184-1-J).  Both are hard to find these days.  Bought second-hand and stored upright in a 5 mil heavyweight polypro sleeve in a smoke-free environment.  Nice copy.    EX cover is clean and glossy with no marks and no seam splits.  Corners are strong and sharp with no wear.  Spine and edges are strong.  Two small wear spots on the top edge, visible from the back (photo) and two other small wear spots along the bottom edge (photo).  Small ding at the opening edge, visible from the back (photo).  Close to NM, but the ding along the back opening edge drops the grading. EX inner sleeve has 1" seam splits on three sides.  Has no other marks, tears or creases.  Corners are strong and sharp with no wear.  NM without the seam splits. EX Side 1 has some light sleeve scuffs in a few areas.  These are surface scuffs and do not effect play quality.  There are two small but deeper scuffs on tracks 1 ("I Wanna Be Adored") and tracks 3 ("Elephant Stone").  These are still not deep enough to effect play quality, but I still play-tested with headphones and heard no audible defects from the scuffs.  Really nice copy, but the two deeper scuffs drop the visual grading. EX Side 2 has some light sleeve scuffing in a few areas and one deeper scuff on track 2 ("Song For My Sugar Spun Sister")  Like side 1, this scuff is still not deep enough to effect play quality (play-tested with headphones), but it still drops the visual grading.  Still a really nice copy.

Mint (I almost never use this grade unless it's sealed) means perfect Near Mint means just shy of perfect Excellent means light wear, or a couple light marks Very Good Plus means more significant wear but nothing serious, or more than a couple light marks and/or a few hairlines Very Good has more serious wear but it's definitely not garbage, has marks and hairlines
