This is an original 1977 World Records release of Annette Hanshaw's "Lovable and Sweet" recording which I purchased new. It was properly played and cared for, thus the NM rating for the record, album, and record sleeve. In the fascinating liner notes by Brian Rusk, he recounts his New York search for and subsequent interview with the "Personality Girl", who was unaware of her world-wide fame!
It should be noted that the following is printed on the record cover and applies to this as well as any transferred and remastered 78 record: "Due to the extreme age and rarity of the original recordings, some surface noise is inenevitable"
Amazingly, little surface noise is heard on this record!
