The disc is in excellent condition. This record is 50 years old but has not been played for at least 30 years. There are some very light surface marks on the disc but there is no discernible sound of surface wear on the record*. The cover shows some signs of storage/ring wear. Please see the photographs.
*A record of this age however well stored will collect a certain amount of dust and specks of paper fibre from the inner sleeve. As far as possible I carefully remove any surface dust with a carbon fibre brush and lens cleaning cloth and then describe the condition of the disc after a test play.
This LP was test played on a Garrard 401 turntable with SME arm and Shure V15 cartridge/stylus with a tracking force of 1 gram.
