NM: Near mint, an unsealed record that looks as good as new
VG++ : Excellent, very minor surface marks, not audible on play
VG+ : light surface marks, mild surface noise, few sporadic tics up and there, but should sound fine overall
VG : more consistent noise or defects, or light scratches, no skip
