Original 1950s Soviet Union made bones'n'ribs X-RAY roentgen film "roentgenizdat" record made of roentgen film with ribs image.
9 inches 78 rpm.
Film is attached to cardboard base for rigidity.
Recorder track is "Farewell dinner" performed by Alexander VERTINSKY.
No defects but it skips on my turntable even with extra tonearm weight so I grade it G
and offer it for display purpose.
Records like
this were popular underground source for songs of prohibited but
extremely popular russian performers like Lescheko or Vertinsky,
underground criminal folklore songs, foreign jazz & pop music and
later rock'n'roll in Soviet Union. It was dangerous business, people get prisoned for manufacturing of them!
