DON COVAY See-Saw LP ATLANTIC RED/PLUM 1966 1st UK PRESS

This record has been vacuum machine cleaned and test played in full on quality hi-fi. My grading is based on the UK record collector grading system.  I will gladly combine postage on multiple items so check out my other records. Thanks

Details:- From my own personal collection - 1966 1st UK PRESSING ON THE ORIGINAL ATLANTIC RED/PLUM LABEL (CAT NO. 58763) MONO. 1st UK PRESSING MATRIX NUMBERS ENDING IN A1/B1. RECORD HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL FRONT LAMINATED FLIP-BACK SLEEVE

Vinyl Condition:-  A NICE STRONG EX VISUALLY WITH EX+ AUDIO. GLEAMING VINYL WITH NOTHING MORE THAN FINE HAIRLINES AND SLEEVE BRUSHINGS VISIBLE UNDER BRIGHT LIGHT

Sleeve Condition:- VG. FRONT LAMINATE HAS SOME CREASING DOWN THE BOTTOM, VERY LIGHT RUBBING FROM RECORD RIM BUT NOTHING SERIOUS. THE SPINE HAS SOME WEAR AND LIGHT FRAYING IN THE MID-POINT BUT IS STILL FULLY READABLE. THE BACK IS YELLOWED WITH AGE AND HAS RANDOM LIGHT BROWN MARKS. I HAVE TAKEN CLEAR PHOTOS OF THIS

 

Label Condition:- EX+ NICE CLEAN LABELS WITH NO WEAR AND JUST ONE LIGHT SPINDLE MARK

Grading Abbreviations

Grading below is as stated from UK Record Collector. I also use +/- for records that fall somewhere between a grade

Mint (M)

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

 

Excellent (EX)

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

 

Very Good (VG)

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable

 

Good (G)

The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc

 

Fair (F)

The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

 

Poor (P)

The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing

 

Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
