Bill Evans Trio - Explorations - Riverside RLP 351 - 1st Pressing - 1961 - VG RARE Vinyl LP

Here Is The ORIGINAL MONO 1st PRESSING FROM 1961 of "Explorations" by Bill Evans Trio.

Catalog # 351

RLP 12 351 - A and RLP 12 351 - B, ETCHED IN THE DEAD WAX. Original Riverside double microphone logo on big blue and silver label.  This is a DEEP GROOVE on both sides of the Label. This is the Authentic Original Riverside 351 FIRST PRESSING.

This record is one of many from my personal jazz record collection that I am now finally parting with.

Record Grade VG-  The album and it plays great.  I played parts of each track just before I listed this so it has been graded accordingly.

There is some surface noise and it is minimal.

There is a small scuff on the beginning of track 4, side 1.  (Elsa) So there is a little pop for the first minute or so but no skips.  It is not bad enough to detract much from the record, but I must point this out.  If you are looking for Near Mint please pass on this one.  With that said, the rest of the record is clean and nice sounding.

This LP is pretty tough to find in the mono recording format and in prime condition.

Jacket Grade VG- = I would grade this conservatively as Very Good minus due to some wear over time, but for it's age, it is clean. No staining.

There are split seams on the bottom and top.  Side seam is intact with slight tear on the bottom left corner.  (See Photo)

The top seam has a 6 inch split and the bottom has a 10 inch split.

The pictures were taken of the exact vinyl record and album cover you will receive.   Please make sure to review the images and ask any questions prior to bidding.  Please give me at least 24 hours to get back to you to respond to any questions you might have.

I encourage anyone considering this to please see all photos and ask any questions before bidding.  If the record is delivered and found to be in a condition other than I have graded, I stand by my word and will offer a complete refund so please consider this before you leave a negative feedback.

I package and ship all vinyl records with great care and have shipped many records.   In order to  prevent splitting or damage, all records are shipped in an inner sleeve, outside the jacket. All records are packed in a new record mailing box carefully and are well wrapped several times inside.

Returns are accepted in case of damage or if it arrives not as described.  Buyers must pay the return shipping.

This is one of the most sought after and well loved of all of the early Riverside recordings of the great Bill Evans, with the working trio including legendary bassist Scott LaFaro and drummer Paul Motian.  It won numerous awards and gained Bill Evans many new fans.

Thanks for watching!
