Kenny Dorham, Jazz Contrasts, on Riverside 1105. Deep-groove stereo issue. A-side is nice VG+, with a couple of short fingernail scuffs that don't sound. B-side is strong VG, has one longer fingernail scuff and a few, thin, very light scratches, though they don't click or pop. Both sides play wonderfully, with great fidelity and minimal surface noise. Front cover is very clean, with a little soiling along the upper-left edge. Rear cover has some light staining along the opening edge, and another light stain at top center. Good seams, with a little wear (but no missing paper or splitting) along the spine. Overall, a very nice copy that plays extremely well.
Grading
MINT- Perfect or virtually perfect.
VG+ Light marks, full shine, great looking record
VG Still fairly shiny but clearly a used record, light scratches, will play well but with some surface noise
VG- Played or used more heavily, lots of scratches, more pronounced surface noise, but still plays through okay
G Rough record
