Up for sale is one of the most rare and sought after DECCA Record Sets - the original 1939 DECCA Set Number 74 "The Wizard of Oz".

This is a very rare 1939 DECCA Record Album - This set contains four 78 RPM records. The sleeves for the records are clean, tight and secure to the inside binding. The top front/back covers read "DECCA presents the Musical Score from METRO-GOLDWYN-MAYER'S Motion Picture TRIUMPH". The bottom of the front/back covers read "LYRICS by E.Y. Harburg, MUSIC by Harold Arlen." In the middle portion of the front/back covers are the huge letters that spell out "THE WIZARD OF OZ". Incorporated within each of the letters are 13 actual scenes from the film. The covers have a little bit of wear with very small nicks, scratches and edge wear that you would expect a 78 year-old record set would have.

On the spine it reads "THE WIZARD OF OZ, DECCA ALBUM 74" in gold lettering. On the inside front/back covers you have 22 actual scenes with descriptive text from the film along with photos and SIGNATURES of Judy Garland and the Composers. This provides a complete story in pictures and text as well as a look at the artists of the Decca Records and the Composers of the Musical Score

Four 10-inch 78 RPM DECCA records. I am not an expert but these records appear to be in very nice condition for their age. They are clean with minimal scratching and no chips.  Since I am not an expert please allow the many pictures to determine their condition.

Record titles are as follows:

2672A - OVER THE RAINBOW (JUDY GARLAND)

2672B - THE JITTERBUG (JUDY GARLAND)

2673A - MUNCHKINLAND (PART1)
