His music and personality can be compared to David Bowie and Elton John. It's an grandiose exploration through the world of science fiction and sexuality. With his voice he combines the opera with vaudeville and he adds layers to the drama. Highlights of the album are the  glamorous "I'maman" and the cabaret driven "Movie Queen". As a whole the album is a fascinating trip to the musical world of Jobriath and the many ways he puts his stories in the different musical styles.
