KING CRIMSON, In The Court of The Crimson King, Island Pink Label, ILPS 9111, A2/B4
Condition of vinyl : Good only, lots of noise...that Mr Fripp didn't put there!
Seller’s comments : shame about the vinyl but cover is better, please check the pictures....
Please note I don't have time to listen to all the vinyl I have for sale, so I have visually graded this batch, if I get it wrong please just let me know and I will refund you immediately, no quibble. However, I recommend a good clean before playing, these haven’t been played for many years so will be dusty. I have kept a few and the sound quality certainly improves with more cleaning.
My eyesight isn't great and I have trouble seeing the matrix numbers so may leave them off if I don't feel they are that significant, but if you really need to know then send me a message and I'll get the magnifying glass out!
I am very happy to combine postage if you buy more than one record. The actual cost will depend on weight and value, but you can usually send 3 or 4 records for the same price as one (UK only, see below).
****Please note I only use ebay’s Global Shipping Programme (GSP) for sales outside the UK and GSP does NOT offer combined postage so please check the “Postage and Payment” tab (next to “Description”) and if you live in one of the countries shown then I will NOT be able to offer combined postage and it will be very expensive for you ****
The pictures are of the actual item, so please look closely to check the condition.I don't grade the sleeves, the pictures forms that part of the description.
I have tried to be conservative with my grading so there are no surprises at your end, if you need to know anything else, please just ask, thanks. All records are sent in peel and seal cardboard sleeves, and I pack them out with newspaper to stop them moving about in the cardboard sleeve, it seems to work well.
RECORD GRADING SYSTEM
N- The vinyl is virtually flawless, bright and shiny. A very minor, barely visible scuff or two may be permitted, but no scratches. No audible surface noise. No label damage.
VG + Disc plays very well indeed, but may have a little surface noise, sometimes at the beginning and possibly a hairline scratch or two but nothing that is obvious or affects play. Label is clean and unmarked.
VG Some visible surface wear, very minor scratches and scuffs, some surface noise, but minimal impact on the sound quality. Labels may have minor imperfections (small labels or initials, etc.) but otherwise clean.
VG - Average used record. Vinyl will have noticeable scratches or scuffs that cause surface noise (pops, crackles), but do not overpower the music. There will be no skips. Vinyl may appear somewhat dull and grayish. Labels may have small tears, tape marks, larger writing, etc.
GOOD Well-played, dull, grayish vinyl with deeper scratches and wear causing distracting surface noise (hisses, pops, cracks and other nasties). The record will still play through without any skips. Labels may be significantly defaced or damaged.
