CONDITION

Disc

Visual: EXC+ to MINT-

Stunning looking vinyl which appears mint and completely unmarked in strong daylight. On close inspection under an unforgiving halogen desklight a few ultra faint marks become visible when angled towards the light. Extremely rare to find mono vinyl of this vintage in such superb condition. The vinyl grades above excellent+ and is very close to a near mint grade; having said that a nr MINT grade would not be entirely unreasonable. The disc lies 100% flat on the turntable.

Labels: MINT-

A superb set of fresh and pristine labels showing evidence of only 2 or 3 plays per side. Side one has the KT tax code.

Audio: MINT

An outstanding audiophile copy with no loss of audio quality whatsoever. There are no audio imperfections other than the sound of natural vinyl. Totally unworn music signals from the opening chords of a Hard Days Night to the final track. Beautiful and rich analogue sound throughout and one of the finest audio copies I’ve ever heard. Tracks such as If I Fell and Things We Said have a super rich analogue clarity only found only on these early pressings. The audio will not disappoint. Needless to say the record does not jump or stick.

Cover

EXCELLENT+

An original 1964 Garrod & Lofthouse patents pending cover. A really nice example of this 1st issue cover. The front panel still retains its original high gloss laminate and is in pristine condition save for two small and very light thumbnail creases. The rear cover is completely unsoiled and has no writing or marks to any part. All flipbacks are in pristine condition and are fully intact. The spine is in pristine condition and has no signs of crushing.

Inner-sleeve Excellent +

Original 1964 clear Emitex inner.
