1953 DESI ARNAZ 45!
TICO TICO/PEANUT VENDOR (RCA #2867 1st pressing, 1953): CLEAN VG+ 45 w/company sleeve & VG/VG+ BOX at a new LOWER price!
Historic CLEAN VG+ 45 (with RCA company sleeve & the cool VG/VG+ box included), rushed out to capitalize on the phenomenal success of I Love Lucy. It'll sound great on your turntable, jukebox...or put it in The Vault!
Latino-music pioneer Desi Arnaz recorded this pair of "hispanic" standards (although Tico Tico was co-written by Zequinha Abreu, who was Portuguese) in 1953. Desi was a TV star by then, largely because wife Lucille Ball wasn't thrilled with his ladykiller-bandleader lifestyle "on the road" back in the '40s. In 1950 she insisted CBS cast Desi as Ricky Ricardo (opposite her own Lucy character) in a new TV show. That'd get him away from those female temptations (...in Hollywood?).We apologize for the pictures of this single; the early-'50s RCA light-blue label just doesn't photograph well. You'll be pleased with the high quality of this 45!
One only...don't miss it!
COMBINED SHIPPING DISCOUNT: $4.99 sends this single with delivery confirmation; 50 cents ships each additional 45.
