Excellent 45 with its picture sleeve, which presents beautifully; only a 1" bottom seam split & slight ring wear (on the backside of the sleeve; see last photo) keeps it from M-. We'll discount for these minor imperfections.
Chubby Checker made pop history with The Twist; it topped the Hot 100 twice, in 1960 and 1961. It's the only recording to accomplish this. The Twist even got adults to do a "teen" dance step; by the end of '61 it seemed the entire world was twisting! No 45 would have impact of this magnitude until The Beatles hit a few years later.
