These records are part of the estate of an avid collector of Rock and Roll. They gave an awful lot of pleasure to him, and hopefully they will go to good homes where they will be enjoyed for many years to come. We are not dealers, and are no experts in the grading system so I’ll just try to describe what I see, but do ask if we can help further.
This auction is for The Murmaids single Popsicles and Icicles / Comedy and Tragedy 7” 45 on the Stateside label SS 247. This is a super rare single written by David Gates and produced by Kim Fowley. The Matrix number is 45 KR 4198-1N, there are a couple of other marks including JR, and KT. The original Stateside sleeve is in very good condition, although it does have the number 247 written on both sides and has some light creases. The vinyl looks nigh on perfect to me. Quite a find for any fan of 60s girl band / dance groups.
