A great opportunity to buy an FIRST PRESSING VINYL LP from the 1970s by King Crimson called "In The Wake Of Poseidon".

This is a U.K. pressing released in 1970 on the Island label (ILPS 9127) (stereo) and has 10 tracks (see photos for track listings).

The matrix numbers in the dead wax are:- ILPS 9127 A/1 (side one) and ILPS 9127 B/1 (side two).

The vinyl is in a lovely clean and shiny EXCELLENT condition. I always examine and grade records under a bright table lamp and there are just a few light surface marks evident, but nothing serious. I have played the whole of both sides and apart from the odd faint crackle between a couple of tracks on side two, they play fine and sound great.

The deep pink, lightly textured labels are clean and free from any writing, stickers or major defects. There are faint spindle marks on the centre of the labels, noticeable when tilted towards the light.

The record is flat and has no warps of any description.

The vinyl is housed within its original plain white die-cut inner sleeve in an EXCELLENT condition considering its age.

The textured gatefold picture cover is in a VERY GOOD condition overall. The edges and spine are still quite strong and the printing on the spine is still readable (see photo), though there is some shelf wear on parts of the spine and in the corners. The inside of the gatefold is clean and undamaged.

This is a highly collectable Progressive Rock LP and should be of interest to avid collectors.
