From my personal vinyl record collection bought throughout the 1970s, unplayed since the early 1980s until now. Very rare limited edition first pressing copy in the original plain colour orange/red sleeve, which was part of the first 10,000 Copies given away FREE with the Stranglers IV - Rattus Norvegicus album, their first LP release.
Original copies had 'What do you expect for nothing!' etched into the
run-off groove (like this copy, see photo); the 'reissue' released later in 1980 replaced this with ''Ello 'Elen' etched into the run-off groove, though with identical vinyl labels to the original.
This is a 7" 45 rpm Original 1977 FREE3 first pressing Vinyl' single with (Track 1.) Choosey Susie (Track 2.) Peasant In The Big Shitty (LIVE), cover sleeve is in fair condition with a little ring marking on both sides and some minor creasing around the corners and edges . Vinyl output play is pretty good, with both sides playing well with normal minor crackle and little sign of wear apart from (Track 1.) Choosey Susie whereby there are approx. 5 crackles in the intro, not too distracting and they do not cause any problems with play, however they're definitely there. Vinyl material is in good condition, the vinyl labels on both sides have some spot staining and bubbling on the centre ring.
