In this gritty police drama from director Dennis Hopper, street-wise cop Bob
Hodges (Robert Duvall) and hotheaded rookie Danny McGavin (Sean Penn) grapple
with their new partnership on the gang-ridden streets of Los Angeles. Although Danny
finally lets Hodges show him the ropes, his adrenaline-fed brutality earns him a
reputation with the very gangs they want to help. With a gang war ready to explode,
Danny confronts his own racism even as he falls in love with Louisa (Maria Conchita Alonso).
The film centers on Bob Hodges (Duvall), an experienced Los Angeles Police Department CRASH
officer, and his rookie partner, Danny McGavin (Penn), who try to stop the gang
violence between the rivals, and inspired discussion over its
depiction of gang life and gang violence.
First time on vinyl in decades this important soundtrack contains tracks
from Ice-T, Salt-N-Pepa, Big Daddy Kane, Eric B. & Rakim, Kool G. Rap,
Rick James, M.C. Shan, Decadent Dub Team,

LP PACKAGING We package our LPs in a thick cardboard LP mailer.  We ALWAYS take the LP out of the jacket of 2nd hand items to  avoid any seam splitting that could occur in shipment.  We put the LP and the jacket in an LP plastic sleeve.  We do NOT open sealed LPs unless requested.  We cushion the LP in bubble wrap and use shipping tape  on all spines to protect the integrity of the box, and to  insure the safety of the contents. All this is included in

the low shipping price. We will clean your purchase on our  VPI machine if and when necessary. This insures that  you receive your item in the best possible condition.

 LP SHIPPING We offer the US Postal Service’s Media Mail and / or Priority  for shipping in the U.S. Buyer’s choice. The buyer pays the shipping,  packing (see above) and handling charges. Tracking is included  with both. We occasionally run domestic shipping specials.  Signing up for our newsletter will give you early warnings.  Shipping to other countries is by the United States Postal  Service's First Class Mail International. Priority International  Is also available.
