Record Grading Guide

Mint (M): Absolutely perfect in every way. Never been played and still sealed.

Near Mint (NM): The vinyl looks glossy and clearly has only been played a few times. There are no marks on the vinyl or jacket.

Excellent (E): Same as NM, but there are very light marks where the vinyl has been in and out of the inner sleeve a few times, or tiny signs of use generally. No surface noise. May have one or two very slight imperfections on jacket.

Very Good Plus Plus (VG++): Very light surface noise. Perhaps a few marks on the record, but nothing that significantly affects playback. Jacket may have some light imperfections.

Very Good Plus (VG+): A few further faults are acceptable, but nothing that really compromises the record visually or audibly. A little rub, light inaudible marks, a little background crackle. Slightly more jacket imperfections.

Very Good (VG): Its seen a bit of life, but is still usable. Light pops and clicks, an edge split, light visible scratches. You can still listen to it and enjoy looking at it, but it is visually and audibly used.

Good (G): It will have significant surface noise, scratches and/or visible groove wear. A jacket or sleeve may have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects may be apparent.

All records are visually graded. I also spot check the records audibly to have a sense of how the record really sounds. My grading will be on the conservative side. Any scratches/tears/marks/etc. will be noted in the description as well as with the pictures.

All records have been cleaned with the Spin-Clean Record Washer MK II.
