This is a reissue of the first 12" EP done by DRI.It was completly remastered by DRI guitarist Spike. This CD contains the entire Dirty Rotten LP along with all the tracks from the Violent Pacification 7", rare, unreleased tracks from the recording session back in 83 at the legendary VATS. Also included are live radio interviews from 1982 along with some live tracks that were broadcasted on KPFT in Houston back in 1982 when the band originally formed. To top it all off this CD features live footage taken when DRI played CBGBs for the first time back in 1984 that you can watch in your computer. An essential release for anyone that likes hardcore or thrash. Review "Talk about giving the fans more than their money's worth here!" -- Joe / The Metal Observer"These are the definitive recordings from this legendary act: Fast, thrashing, socially aware hardcore/punk with a sense of humor." -- aversionline.com"This is a truly excellent enhanced version of a landmark record" -- Daniel Hinds /the-plague.net P.when('A').execute(function(A) { A.on('a:expander:toggle_description:toggle:collapse', function(data) { window.scroll(0, data.expander.$expander[0].offsetTop-100); }); }); About the Artist For the past 22 years, D.R.I. has been the epitome of the aggressive, hardcore/punk thrash sound. Throughout this time, they've been one of the few genuine underground bands to remain true to their pure punk roots. Still actively touring and recording just as hard as when they began. While they're a little older now, time hasn't gotten the best of the Dirty Rotten Imbeciles. They're still thrashing just as hard, and just as loud as ever, continuing to overload our senses with the sound that is, and will always remain, uniquely D.R.I.
