Offered is a used 1966 long playing record: PLAY ELECTRIC BASS with the VENTURES - Vol. 4 - BLP-16504, with 16-page illustrated booklet. The record, in very good condition, is monophonic and, of course, plays on stereo equipment. The photos show the gatefold cover's very good condition and the booklet's condition is attached without tears or rips.
In the early 1970s I bought a 1965 Mosrite The Ventures model electric bass and a copy of this album. Learning to play with this record was hassle-free and easy and I used only my fingers, no pick. Because I had been a drummer it helped with keeping time. I even took on Bach and learned to play adequately "Jesu, Joy Of Man's Desiring" amongst many and tons of oldies, reggae, jazz, etc. And I built up the confidence to play for about 30 friends at my 40th birthday. And when I moved to L.A. in the '80s I met the Ventures. All from this LP. It will be mailed in a secure cardboard LP mailer.
CAVEAT:The vinyl is in very good condition without scratches. However, as with all vinyl, once you expose it to the air most records become positively charged with static electricity. This positive charge attracts dust and grime to the grooves, resulting in clicks, pops and unwanted surface noise. This record is not loaded with dust but it won't hurt to give it a gentle wipe with a moist (not wet) cloth or proper brush.
