The Replacements vinyl LP album, Tim, released on the Sire label in 1985 (Cat # 9 25330-1.) The vinyl is in excellent condition; test play revealed no issues other than minimal background static heard during transitions between tracks. The sleeve is in very good condition, although some wear to edges and corners is evident. Record comes in a clear antistatic poly inner sleeve. Refer to the photos. The album comes from a clean, smoke free home. GRADING: I am neither a collector nor a vinyl expert; I'm just a music lover with too many albums and not enough space. My condition description is based on simple, non-technical observations and the guidelines below. I attempt to grade the vinyl and sleeve objectively and make note of all observed deficiencies. I'll err on the side of caution and choose a lower grade if there's any question--I'd would rather you be pleasantly surprised that the record is better than you expected, rather than the other way around. All that said, the album is being offered as is, without warranty or return. Please review all the pictures and condition description, and ask any questions you may have before buying. I feel I have priced this fairly in accordance with its observed condition and characteristics. Grading is based on the following general guidelines:
Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as sealed or unplayed should be Mint. Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks or scuffs and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches causing pops. A skip might occur. The sleeve and contents suffer from significant wear, folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc. Fair (F) The record is barely playable and has not been cared for properly; it generates considerable surface noise and skips or repeats should be anticipated. The cover will exhibit extensive wear, contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to deep scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing, sleeve spines may be split on sides. SHIPPING: If you purchase multiple albums, I will combine shipping--just $1 more for each additional album purchased. An adjusted invoice will be sent to you after the purchases have been made. All records are removed from the album covers to prevent potential "seam splits" to sleeves during the shipping process. All items are carefully packaged that includes extra cardboard to ensure the LPs stay snug and secure in transit to you. I ship via USPS "Media Mail" only within the United States, so please no international buyers.
