Audiophile, Music Lover, and Musician     are apt ways describing this loved person who passed away. His record collection, including classical (in the most broad sense), opera, some jazz and popular, was meticulously cared for. The best turntables, styluses, and speakers were always used and brought current, as necessary. The records received attention (they were cleaned prior to and after each playing) that I thought was overdoing it at the time…now I know better, they were kept in beautiful shape…for their next owner, too.

An 11-record box set Custom-Pressed by RCA Victor for Reader’s Digest in 1963. The Set includes performances by Guitarist Al Caiola [on the “Hawaiian Paradise” Lp], Pianists Earl Wild [Melodies For Piano and Orchestra] and Ralph Votapek. 

Featured Orchestras include the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Vienna State Opera Orchestra. Featured Conductors include Russell Stanger, Josef Leo Gruber, Sir Malcolm Sargent, and Henri Rene.
