Unused DEAD BOYS "Sonic Reducer"
45 RPM 7-inch DJ Single with Picture Sleeve You are bidding on one unused copy of the 45 RPM 7-inch DJ promotional single "Sonic Reducer," released in 1977. This is an original promotional issue with the song "Sonic Reducer" on both sides, one stereo, one mono. A picture sleeve is included; the sleeve says the B side is "Down In Flames," but this is WRONG. Produced by Genya Ravan (aka Goldie Zelkovicz, lead singer of The Escorts, Goldie and the Gingerbreads, and Ten Wheel Drive).

The single is USED but in excellent condition; we believe it is unplayed. (See grading legend below). The disc is graded Near Mint (NM) and is not warped. There are very light marks on both sides that are not expected to be audible; there are no scratches on either side. The picture sleeve is made of paper and is graded Very Good (VG); there is some ring wear on both sides, but no other contact wear, edge wear or corner wear. There are some creases in the paper. Also, there is some writing in red pen near the center of the front sleeve. The actual item is pictured below.

We try to grade the condition of a vinyl record conservatively . Records may be considered flat, or not warped, unless otherwise noted. If one side of a record is in better shape than the other, two grades will appear. Records and covers are graded separately.

M = Mint. In all but the rarest cases, still sealed. If we know that an open record has never been played, and the rating otherwise applies, it will be graded mint.
NM = Near mint, or unplayed condition. Cover is near perfect, new looking, with no surface or ring wear.
EX = Only slight signs of wear; very clean, only light surface marks which do not distract significantly from the sound. Cover has only slight surface wear and is still in nice collectible condition.
VG+ = Evidence of play, with moderate surface wear and some minor noise - still plays well. Cover is solid with no breaks but may have minor surface wear or some ring wear.
VG = Overall wear, but no skips or serious defects. May be somewhat noisy during quiet passages. Cover is worn, with considerable ring wear, and may have partially broken edges.
VG- = Playable, but both the record and cover are well worn.
G or G+ = Poor or Rough condition. Holefiller only!
