Michael Jackson “Thriller” Vinyl LP (VG) 1982 1st US Pressing, Gatefold. Condition is "Used". Shipped with care from Brooklyn NY 1-3 days after receiving payment using USPS Media Mail.
This is a 1982 first US pressing, as this sleeve version DOES NOT list Michael Jackson as a co-producer on back cover.
The sleeve is VG/VG+ shape, with some minor edge wear and ring wear showing through on the back of the sleeve.
The record is in VG shape, there are noticeable small scratches on both sides, some light crackling/surface noise during some quiet sections and between tracks, but entire record plays through fine without any skips.
Thriller topped The Village Voice's Pazz & Jop poll of 1983. The album won a record-breaking eight Grammy Awards at the 26th Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year. That same year, Jackson won eight American Music Awards, including the American Music Award of Merit, and three MTV Video Music Awards. Thriller was recognized as the best-selling album of all time on February 7, 1984, when it was inducted into the Guinness Book of World Records. Also included in Rolling Stone’s list of The 40 Most Groundbreaking Albums of All Time.
