Title: (I Can't Get Me No) Satisfaction
Format: 12"
Record Label: Stiff Records
Cat. No: BOY 1
Country of origin/Year of release: UK/1978
Sleeve condition: Excellent-+ (owned since day of release. original plain white sleeve with title sticker. light signs of general careful handling. no spine/seam creases or seam wear of any consequence. general light discolouration/minor grubbiness/minor foxing to the white with hints of record impression mark, nothing to concern, and could easily have a gentle clean to really bring it up to really excellent. title sticker in great shape. overall i think an excellent sleeve commensurate to it now being 43 years old. i really doubt one would find many better than this copy) Note: Anything that may look remotely like wear on bottom seam in photo is definitely not wear, simply light reflection.
Vinyl condition: Excellent-+ (owned since new and i can't remember playing it more than only a few times, and probably not for near 40 years. light signs of careful handling with light signs light fine lines/scuffs but nothing at all likely to affect playback. i suspect one would struggle to find a very much better copy after 43 years)
Inner Sleeve/Inserts etc/condition: Black Paper generic die-cut Inner Sleeve/Excellent

PLEASE CHECK MY OTHER AUCTIONS AS THIS ITEM IS JUST ONE OF NUMEROUS GREAT MUSIC AND RARE RELEASES I AM CURRENTLY LISTING
*** VERY IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ ALL BELOW INCLUDING TERMS & CONDITIONS AND PAYMENT CONDITIONS & POSTAGE ***
I have a collection of literally thousands of 10", 12" & LP Punk/Post Punk/Indie/New Wave/Alternative/Industrial/Shoegazer/Garage Rock/Lo-Fi/Thrash/Space Rock/Electronic/Avant-Garde/Reggae vinyl records. I am a private collector not a dealer and any items I sell will be from my personal collection. I will not be listing prolifically but will be doing so from time to time and often with some rare and collectable items. Please check my other auctions and keep an eye out for future listings.
Every record I have ever acquired has been placed immediately into a brand new PVC cover to protect the outer sleeve and where applicable vinyl has been removed from inner picture sleeve and placed into a poly-lined paper sleeve to protect both vinyl and inner sleeve. As such every record I have bought new remains basically 'as new' or as close to it as you are likely to get no matter how old it may be. However, I have not bought every record in the collection new and therefore where this applies my methods will have kept the item in the same condition as it was when I acquired it. I will to the best of my ability follow the grading system used by ‘Record Collector’ (see below) but I may add a + or – to a grading to help fine-tune the condition report. The age and rarity of an item may also tweak the grading. Please note that vinyl will be visually graded only. Furthermore, I will grade as strictly as I can while attempting to draw a fair and reasonable balance between honest appraisal and not wanting to put a buyer off by over analysing the item for sale. Condition is often a matter of personal judgement, however, in all the years I have been buying and selling records I would have to say that my definition of any given grade tends to be significantly stricter than the majority. I have often had an item sold to me as mint or excellent that I did not consider it to be as such and would have given a lower grade.
Record Collector’s grading system
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or un-played should be mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

Terms & conditions
I describe every item for sale as accurately as possible and provide as much information as I can or that is deemed necessary for a particular sale. I welcome any questions prior to auction end and I will do my utmost to provide an accurate reply (due to other commitments I cannot guarantee a reply to any question sent within the last 12 hours of the auction).
Communication is the major factor with eBay, as we all want to avoid any possibility of a bad experience. Please make sure you ask any questions you have before auction ends and if you have any doubts then it is possibly better not to bid. Once the transaction is completed I will only accept an item to be returned if it can be proved that I have in some way mistakenly misrepresented it. In any such circumstances communication is again the key, as any problems can always be resolved. As with all auctions buyer remorse or change of mind is not an acceptable reason for return and would make it unfair on others who may have submitted bids.
