Hello all, up for grabs here is a brand new & sealed copy of The Decemberists’ sixth full-length album “The King is Dead” released by Capitol/EMI records in 2011 (has is it really been 10 years!?). This is the band at their most commercially accessible, folksy peak and is easily included in any conversation about their top five best! This album is unavailable brand new elsewhere on the internet and used copies on Discogs are currently listed for much more. Snatch up this sealed classic while you can!

As far as condition goes, there are no major dings, creases or color-breaks. The bottom two corners are a little soft from shelf-wear from being in a record store environment (I have included photos of those). Because of this, I would not call this copy gem Mint but I do think it has to be pretty close to Near-Mint because the record looks great! However, please check the photos for yourself because I am definitely not a professional grader and condition is usually subjective!

I do my best to include all of the pertinent details about my items on Ebay and, because of this, I generally don’t accept returns. I do this because vinyl is susceptible to wear & tear in transit and I’ve had things returned to me in the past in much worse condition then I’ve sent them, so please, read the listing and check the photos to make sure you are ok with the item before purchasing!! I go out of my way to send LPs in sturdy, cardboard mailers with extended corners and cardboard stiffeners to protect the vinyl as much as possible during S&H.
