A 33 1/3 RPM stereo vinyl LP, 'News Of The World' by Queen

The album was released in 1977 on EMI. 

This was the 6th studio album from Queen. Recorded at Sarm West and Wessex Sound, London between July and September, 1977 and released in October of the same year. It features the classic singles 'We Wil Rock You' and 'We Are The Champions'.

Musicians:- Freddie Mercury, vocals and piano; Brian May, guitar and backing vocals; John Deacon, bass; Roger Taylor, drums and backing vocals

Produced by Queen, assisted by Mike Stone who also engineered the album

The gatefold sleeve folds out to show an adaptation of the cover of an issue from Astounding Science Fiction, by Frank Kelly Freas, of a giant robot. Freas has altered it to show the four 'dead' band members. Brian May and Freddie Mercury in the robots hand and John Deacon and Roger Taylor falling. Taylor is alone on the back cover, which also has the track listing and '℗ 1977 Queen Productions Ltd'. The inner gatefold has another copy of a Freas painting of the robot reaching down into the auditorium and the audience fleeing.

Printed, die-cut inner sleeve. White on red printed lyrics with writing credits, plus musician and production credits etc.

The record labels have the Queen 'crest' on them.

Condition

The vinyl  looks VG+. 

No noticeable marks or scratches, no pops or surface noise on playback . 

The sleeve VG+, with slight edge wear and very faint, ring wear on both outer and inner sleeves. 

The inner sleeve has small (half-inch) slit at the bottom
