The Rolling Stones, Their Satanic Majesties Request.
TXS. 103 Full Frequency Stereophonic Sound on Decca Records.
This is a true 1967 UK first pressing with the original gatefold sleeve which features the famous 3D lenticular image on the front.

Green labels with 'unboxed' DECCA logo.

There are many similar editions, specifically this copy has labels with:
Side indicator on left hand side; (ZAL 8127) label matrix in brackets; Text with sans-serif typeset; 33 1/3 speed indicator on left hand side; 'Bill Wyman' writing credit printed in the same sized font as 'The Rolling Stones';  '(Regd.)' text written after the Decca logo.
I give an honest description of records so buyers have no surprises.

The condition of the album is as follows:

Sleeve: Very Good

The ionic sleeve is in great condition.
The lenticular 3D image looks fantastic without any cracks or bleeding and the rest of the sleeve retains the original bright colours.
There is an aged piece of sellotape over the spine and a small patch in one corner. The corners show some sign of storage wear and there is a small crease to one corner.
Otherwise there is very little wrong; no rips, tears and no writing.

Inners: Good

Comes with a non-original black inner sleeve in excellent condition.

As it's non-original graded as good.

Also comes with an audiophile quality, anti-static inner sleeve that the record in held within.

Disc: Very Good +

The Stones' answer to Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club band is their only attempt to produce psychedelic rock and one of my favourite albums.
Many prefer the album in stereo as it provides a more complete listening experience than the mono. This copy sounds great with excellent channel separation.
Both sides retain their original mirror like finish with minimal surface marks.
There is just one mark which causes 6 pops on 'She's a Rainbow'.

Otherwise only very subtle background crackle, no distortion and no skips or jumps.
The labels are bright, clean, without writing and with minimal spindle wear.

A great record to listen to.

All in all a great copy of an increasingly rare album - a great addition to any collection.
