Dr. John was an American singer and songwriter. He was born in New Orleans in 1941. He gained a following in the late 1960's. He typically performed a lively, theatrical stage show inspired by Mardi Gras costumes and voodoo ceremonies. "In The Right Place" is his sixth album, released in 1973, and it became the best-selling album of John's career. The song "Right Place Wrong Time" reached the Top Ten in both the US and Canada. He was in the right place at the right time. New Orleans funk with attitude. Atco Records, #SD 7018, STEREO LP. The tri-fold cover is in excellent condition. The vinyl is in excellent condition.
