For sale is a picture disc 1st pressing vinyl release of Treats by Sleigh Bells (Mom + Pop, MP016, N.E.E.T.).

This is the original 2010 debut album from Sleigh Bells on picture disc colored vinyl (with a very ugly graphic) pressed on 200g vinyl.

The insert was signed by Alexis Krauss (lead singer from the band, pictured in the photos posing with my daughter) before the Sleigh Bells & Tunde Olaniran concert in 2017 at Crescent Ballroom in Phoenix, AZ.

Alexis was amazing during her performance and was kind enough to come to us following the show and offer the printed sheet created for the concert's specific setlist. She was a very outgoing and lovely musician! (see below for more details about the setlist sheet).

CONDITION:

Disc is EX and plays with faint hiss and occasional rotational pops that are noticeable only during quiet parts, nothing overwhelming but worth noting. Discussions about this record suggest the sound is not great, but it's worth noting that the band's original demo sounded as if it were recorded with hi quality equipment a few dozen yards from a 2001 Toyota Pickup Truck (with a decent sound system) blasting on the banks of a riverbed. By comparison this album sounds just as close to the CD release as it should which is amazing!

Jacket is VG+ but is a clear, heavy weight plastic sleeve with illustrated thick paper insert signed by Alexis Krauss at the Sleigh Bells concert.

Signed Set List sheet was used by the band during their show, however the tape came loose and it dropped on the stage floor before they ended their set. Since neither band member noticed their missing setlist it ended up becoming walked on and torn by the band members.

Alexis came to talk to us after the set, remembered that she had wanted to give my daughter the set list, retrieved and signed it for her. She has since outgrown her obsessed Sleigh Bells period and is now offering it up for auction alongside this amazing album!

The black tape along the top and bottom was used to hold it to the back of an amp and was not removed for fear of further tearing the page - however, to maintain the integrity of the paper there was packaging tape added later to the back of the sheet along the tears in order to hold it together. Great memories! If you're interested feel free to request pictures from that concert (I think we took 5 or 10, maybe more - not the highest quality but still captured the intensity of the night).
