Black Sabbath are an English blues rock band formed in Birmingham in 1968. The group adopted and incorporated occult themes with horror inspired lyrics and tuned down guitars. "Seventh Star" is their twelfth studio album, released in 1986. It features founding guitarist Tony Iommi and was intended to be his first solo album, due to pressures by Warner Bros. Records the early releases were billed as 'Black Sabbath featuring Tony Iommi' with later releases simply as 'Black Sabbath'. It is hard rock with one foot firmly planted in blues. It gets a bad reputation for not being as heavy, but you'll be surprised at how decent it is. Tony plays brilliant guitar, the album still rocks. Warner Bros. #25337-1.
