The Grateful Dead were an American rock band formed in 1965. The band was known for it's unique style which fused elements of country, folk, bluegrass, blues, reggae, and rock. Live performances had lengthy instrumental jams, and their devoted fans were known as "Dead Heads". The band and it's fans (Dead Heads) are associated with the hippie movement. "In the Dark" is their twelfth studio album, released in one week in 1987. The cover art lettering forms the shape of an eye. "In the Dark" gave Dead Heads and admirers of the band a classic masterpiece, 'Touch of Grey'. The gatefold album cover is in excellent condition. The vinyl is in excellent condition.
