This auction includes one (1) box set (3 discs, 6 sides) of Georges Bizet's Carmen released on RCA Victor Red Seal Records in 1951.
The outer box/sleeve is in good condition with some label discoloration and a name written in blue ink on the front cover. The disc is clean and near mint, very quiet. The LP was listened to/evaluated using Goldmine standards on a JVC turntable with a Grado MT+ cartridge tracking at 1.5 grams.
This LP is part of an extensive personal collection of opera librettos and LP recordings from the 1950s and later. The items have been kept in climate-controlled spaces over the decades. From a smoke-free home with no musty odors.
