This recording captures Syd's rare live performances of his so material from his two post Pink Floyd solo albums, "The Madcap Laughs" and "Barrett" (as well as the previously unreleased track "Two of a Kind").
This "live" in the BBC studio EP also features his former bandmates David Gilmour (Guitar, Bass and Vocals), Richard Wright (Keyboard) and Humble Pie's Jerry Shirley on Drums.
It is both great and tragic, as one gets tantalizing glimpses of "what could have been" with respect to what could have been an ongoing brilliant solo career for Syd, had he not succumbed to his tragic mental illness, combined with the heavy abuse of drugs and the awful pressures of rock stardom.
It is in great shape and a cool collectors item for fans of Syd and Pink Floyd!
