Rare rockabilly on Sun (248)! I don’t have the ability to play test, but the sheen on this 78 is amazing for its age! It ain’t perfect, but it’s close (those are reflections of lights in the wax and not actually on the record).
This is from the estate of a former country music artist/store owner, and all his records were well-taken care of. I’d rate this one VG/VG+, but since I’m mainly an LP collector I’m not sure of the 78 grades or if they’re different.
A couple of light hairlines and light paper scuffing, needs a good cleaning for dust and fingerprints, but other than that this is easily one of the cleanest, shiniest 78s I’ve ever seen. Comes shipped in a generic 12” paper sleeve, sorry I do not have any 10” sleeves around.
