Lot of 80 7" 45s from the 50's and 60's. These 45s came from a distributor's collection. Most of the 45s are in the classic green RECORDVELOPE sleeves from the era. The vintage classic green sleeves alone are worth a good percentage of the price! Most of the 45's have a date stamp from when it was released/received on one side of the label. In some cases the date was written on, or on some black labels, an area was erased first and then the date was written or stamped. Sometimes there are small notations written such as "Good" along with a filing sticker (the sleeves usually have the corresponding number as well). Some of the sleeves also have a larger label with more info on it. A small minority of 45s are in plain white sleeves, and even fewer are unsleeved. This collection had been picked over several times but is still full of very fun and interesting music. It is primarily major labels of the time ( Decca, RCA, Capitol, Columbia with a few others as well). The genres run the spectrum of mostly popular music of the time, pop, vocals, jazz, country, soundtracks, easy listening, etc ... some obscure quirky oddball stuff also. A lot of the collection is white/pink/green/etc label promo copies. Most are in VG+, very few have signs of play wear. Lots will be randomly pulled from the boxes from this collection. Makes for an incredible grab bag Holiday gift of fun. Records pictured may not be the exact ones you receive in your lot.
