A 33 1/3 RPM stereo vinyl LP, the eponymously titled 'The Stone Roses' 

The album was released in 1989 on Silvertone Records. 

This was the debut album from The Stone Roses. Recorded, mainly, at Battery Studios, London (with additional sessions at The Kinks' Konk Studios, Coconut Grove Studios, Stockport and Rockfield Studios, Wales) between June, 1988 and February, 1989.  and released in May, 1989

All songs were written by Ian Brown and John Squire

The sleeve has an artwork by John Squire on the front cover, entitled 'Bye Bye Badman'. The back cover has a b&w photo of the band with full track listing and various credits etc. This is a first pressing without the embossed gold lettering.

A printed card, inner sleeve with a further artwork, 'Waterfall', by John Squire. The other side has various band photos in b&w.

The 'A' side label is red with a detail from the 'Waterfall' artwork. The 'B' side is black with the track listing (styled 'This Side' and 'The Other Side')

Condition

The vinyl  looks VG. 

Some faint scratches, with pops and some surface noise on playback . 

The sleeve is VG, with some edge wear, especially at the corners, and very faint ring wear. 

The inner sleeve has some light creasing, but is otherwise undamaged and unmarked.
