Deep Purple 'In Rock' (SHVL 777) 1970 Vinyl LP In Laminated Gatefold Sleeve.
1970 release of Deep Purple in Rock. I’ve played it through on both sides recently and whilst there are surface marks on the vinyl there are no skips or jump. There is a scratch on side 2 but it doesn’t interfere with play (pictured). In between tracks there is a small amount of background noise but nothing which spoils listening to the record.
The sleeve is obviously worn but it is not split. The inner sleeve has a small split at the base.
The final digits of the run outs are hard to make out and I haven’t been able to completely identify the record on Discogs but they are:
Side A - SHVL 777 A-2 OL 1
Side B - SHVL 777 B-1 OD 1
I’ve not graded the item as I’m not an expert by any stretch. It’s in good condition for a 50 year old record that’s all I can say.
