Styx - Kilroy Was Here 1983 US KC-600 Audiophile (Photo #2) Sealed Vinyl/LP containing 9 total tracks featuring three Billboard Hot 100 Chart smash hit singles, ‘High Time’ (#48), ‘Don’t Let It End’ (#6) and ‘Mr. Roboto’ (#3). For full track listing and sequence (Photos #5 and 6). The hard rocker "Heavy Metal Poisoning", fifth track on the album, begins with the backmasked Latin words "annuit cœptis, novus ordo seclorum". Translated from the Latin, these words mean "[they] have favored our undertakings, a new order of the ages". These are the two mottoes from the Great Seal of the United States on the reverse side of the United States one-dollar bill. The album reached #3 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart in 1983 and is certified platinum by the RIAA. As of 2022, it is the last studio album by the band to be certified platinum.
