Black Uhuru is a Jamaican reggae group formed in 1972, initially Uhuru (Swahili for freedom).  Their most successful period was in the 1980's.  The group formed in the Waterhouse District of Kingston, Jamaica, in 1972.        "Tear It Up"  is a live album (and available video) recorded on tour in Europe in 1981.  Sly and Robbie rhythm at their best.  Puma and Duckie backing vocals,  Mikey Chung excellent guitar work,  Sky Juice percussion,  Keith Sterling keys,  and Michael Rose vocals.  A short album with hardcore rockers!   A favorite reggae album.  The band gives the fans what they want.  This belongs in every reggae collection.  Item is in excellent condition, includes the printed inner sleeve.  No barcode.  Thank you for looking.  (Grading Order:  Mint, Near Mint, Excellent, Very Good+, Very Good, Good, etc...)
