You are bidding on The Beach Boys Surfin' Safari 1962 Vinyl Record LP Mono T-1808 First Pressing (NOT a reissue) acquired from a relative about 30 years ago. This is the Variant 2, per Discogs standard first pressing (first entry listed in Discogs for this record, see Item Specifics for the runout matrix number confirming that this is Variant 2. Note that, unlike some of the later regional variants, this pressing has an error: one track, Little Girl (You're My Miss America) is listed on the label by that name, but on the track listing on the outside back cover it is listed as "Little Miss America". As for condition the outer sleeve has some wear, including some minor edge fraying and some edge tanning, but, oddly, little in the way of ring wear, I would normally rate this Very Good Plus, but the inner sleeve is just a clear plastic sleeve instead of the standard Capitol paper sleeve (don't know if this plastic sleeve is the original or a replacement) so with that in mind I will downgrade to Very Good. The record itself is better, looks new and sounded fantastic when I played it on a standard modern Victrola. Will grade that Excellent. Keep in mind that I tend to grade on the conservative side so as not to disappoint winning bidders! Please review all of the detailed photos that I have taken, as I have done my very best to accurately capture condition in these pictures. Will ship in corrugated cardboard, packed inside a larger box to preserve the integrity of this item. NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT A FREE SHIPPING ITEM--YOU WILL PAY EXTRA FOR SHIPPING AS INDICATED. I will combine shipping if you win more than one of my auctions, Thanks so much for taking the time to check out my listing!
