       45 rpm Mercury Records 72949    from 1969 
This is a scarce David Bowie 45 rpm single.  The songs are Space Oddity and Wild Eyed Boy from Freecloud. This 45 is on the Mercury label and is in EXCELLENT condition ... has a tiny drill hole through label. (See photos.) includes paper sleeve.
Both sides are edited mono versions. The B side unique to this release. The A side omits the last verse, the B side omits the first verse. The A side edit later appeared on an RCA EP again in mono. RCA also released the hit 45 version which was unedited.  
This is a scarce record as the hit version was on RCA.  The Mercury release was earlier and was not a hit.
