a letter written by one of the band members: "This plays at 33 1/3 rpm.
It says 1979, but it was recorded in mid-78; I think we wanted to make
it seem "new" when it came out. Chris did the artwork for all three
records. I'd mix this a lot differently if I had to do it again. Our
manager lived in Arcadia. The drummer was from Hermosa Beach. The rest
of us lived in LA. The guy on the cover is the historical Dred Scott.
