Limited 180gm red vinyl LP pressing. First time on any format for this soundtrack to the classic British horror comedy Shaun Of The Dead. While aware that they were working on a comedy, composers Daniel Mudford and Pete Woodhead wanted to make a score that was deadly serious and let the comedy do its own thing. "We wanted to "play a straight bat," as the English say, and treat the film as though it was a sincere and genuinely terrifying scenario." says Mudford. In doing so, they crafted a score that fits in perfectly alongside the great horror scores that inspired it. Pete and Dan's band, The Sons Of Silence, was previously featured in Edgar Wright's television show Spaced before it became part of the behind the scenes soundtrack to the writing, and casting portions of production of the film. "Indeed, many of the doomier, dubbier tracks of from The Sons of Silence would blend in perfectly with my playlist, made up of John Carpenter scores, Goblin rock outs and library tracks from Dawn of The Dead. So even before Dan and Pete were definitely scoring the movie, they were already scoring the movie." Says Edgar.

All items sold are brand new in factory sealed packaging unless otherwise noted in the listing title or description. Every item shipped out is in the most mint condition we feel is satisfactory (and as long time sellers, we are picky so it's a good bet you will be happy).  If damage occurs (hope it does not) it is always caused by the delivery company during transit.  If a package is sold listed as "dented" "imperfect" it means we pulled those aside to offer them.  If we do not note that, you are being shipped a near perfect item. 
Please know if an item arrives damaged, please know we did not ship it that way.  Please contact us directly to work out a solution.  We work with everybody.
Video games, music, movies that are opened and defective are eligible for a replacement.  Just document to us what the issue is and we will discuss what to do in terms of refunds and replacement. If you email us to discuss a problem, issue, concern or just want to ask questions please give us until the end of day to get back to you.  We promise to respond as quickly as we can but some days we are busy shipping and expediting orders and we can't respond right away.  We do care, so know we will respond asap.
