The Rolling Stones: Their Satanic Majesties Request LP, Gatefold, Vinyl, Decca Records 1967
Their Satanic Majesties Request is the 6th British and 8th American studio album by the English rock band the Rolling Stones, released in December 1967 by Decca Records in the UK and by London Records in the US. The album's title is a play on the "Her Britannic Majesty requests and requires..." text that appears inside a British passport.
Their Satanic Majesties Request was a tangle of psychedelic sounds and influences, complete with iconic 3D artwork. Keith Richards later recalled, “We made that set ourselves. We went to New York, put ourselves in the hands of this Japanese bloke with the only camera in the world that could do the 3D. Bits of paint and saws, bits of Styrofoam.”
This is the blue label, gatefold Decca Records UK release from 1982, with original Decca inner sleeve.

On Side 1, there are recurring surface noises for the first 23 seconds until the 1st track starts. Halfway through the 2nd track 'Citadel' there are two wee crackles. During tracks 2 and track 3, there are slight  crackles. With the 3rd track, 'In Another Land' there are occasional crackles. In the snoring intermission,  between track 3 and track 4 there are three crackles.  In the intro leading up to the jam of 'Sing This All Together', track 6 there are a few light crackles. Then about 7.40 minutes into the track there are two crackles before the final part of this jam.
Flip it over, there are two crackles before the sound of the market trader kicks in. About 7 seconds in,  thereis a small pop during this sample of the market trader. With the 1st track, 'She's A Rainbow', there  are slight crackles during the first piano harmony. In the lead to the 2nd track, 'The Lantern', there are  slight crackles during the first 2 minutes of this track. With the 3rd track, 'Gomper', there are wee crackles throughout this song. Finally there are two crackles right at the end of the 4th track, '2000 Light Years'.
There is some foxing to the record sleeve, from age and being in storage.
