The Beatles – Yesterday and Today vinyl LP, 2nd state Butcher Cover, Capitol 1966, mono, US (T-2553). RIAA 3.

This listing is from Fly Vintage & Vinyl, a brick-and-mortar indie record store in Robbinsdale, Minnesota.

This rare record is on consignment from the original owner who didn't know she had a "Butcher" cover until we pointed it out to her.

The vinyl is a strong VG with several light scuffs on both sides. We grade conservatively, so this might actually be lower VG+ by Goldmine or another store's grading definitions. Matrix numbers: T1-2553 -F7 #2 side 1, T2-2553-G8 side 2

The jacket is VG with cracking on the spine and light wear on the top and bottom seams. The “V” of Ringo’s dark shirt under his butcher smock can be easily seen. There is some bubbling in several spots on the front. It looks like someone peeled the bottom right corner to peek underneath at some point. There is wear along the right side near the mouth of the jacket (see closeup photos). “Mary Wick” is written in light green marker on the back cover. RIAA 3.

Includes the original “Capitol ’66; Sounds Great!” inner sleeve.

The record has been ultrasonic cleaned in a Tergitol-based solution and placed inside a new antistatic inner sleeve.

Shipping is FREE via USPS Media Mail in the U.S. We also ship worldwide via eBay's Global Shipping Program to 100+ countries (an estimated shipping cost will appear for your country if eligible, and VAT may be added to the total upon checkout if you win).

Record will be mailed inside a new Whiplash V3 mailer with cardboard stiffeners for added protection. Bid on this grail with confidence. We take records seriously!
