The Beatles - The Beatles 

This fantastic copy of The Beatles eponymous studio album, known widely as 'The White Album', comes with the extremely sought after 1st pressing Apple Record label without the 'An EMI Recording' text on any of the four labels.
This exceptional record is housed within the holy grail of sleeves for most Beatles collectors; a 1st edition top opening sleeve with an extremely low 7 digit serial number: No. 0004767. It doesn't get much better than this!
This album is complete with all original inner: two die-cut black inner sleeves, 4 photo card images of the Beatles, the photo card spacer, and the large foldout poster with song lyrics on the flip-side.

Vinyl: VERY GOOD +
Labels: EXCELLENT
The labels are bright and clean without writing. Only very light spindle marks can be seen to all four sides.
Visual: VERY GOOD 

Visually the vinyl surface retains the original deep gloss factory finish. In bright daylight several light surface marks are present to all sides. None of these are feel-able. 

Sound Quality:  VERY GOOD +

The audio is great! There are quiet lead-ins to all sides and only mild static in between songs. All tracks play through with the punch and vigour that is noted of the 1st press mono recording. There are no obtrusive pops, no skips and no jumps. A great listen throughout. 

Sleeve: VERY GOOD +
The extremely rare sleeve looks great. All four sides are clean and retain a deep-gloss finish. There is an area of damage to the front side (pictured). There is no sign of ring wear. The spine has some laminate lift but is fully read-able. The top, bottom and opening edges show only minor wear. The corners are firm but do show signs of storage wear. 
Inners: EXCELLENT
The original inner sleeves look great. They both have small rips around the die-cut centre and opening edge. VERY GOOD +. The four photo cards are NEAR MINT. The poster looks great. EXCELLENT.  Also included in the sale are two audiophile quality, anti-static inner sleeve to help protect and preserve the fantastic records.
